Fraction Solver app for iPhone and iPad

Fraction Solver adds, subtracts, multiplies and divides fractions. You enter the fraction expression by touching the Fraction Solver buttons.

Algebraic hierarchy (order of operations) is supported. You may also use parentheses to tailor the order based on your entry preference.

You are shown several results:
1. The raw evaluation using the common denominator.
2. A reduced fraction showing the common factor used to reduce it.
3. The mixed fraction (whole number and numerator/denominator).
4. The decimal equivalent.

Additionally, you are shown the list of all of the factors for both the numerator and the denominator and the prime factorization of the numerator and denominator. The common factors are highlighted in red.

All of the action occurs on one screen making it very simple to use. Note that the screen containing the result scrolls up and down.

Fraction Solver internally maintains both the numerator and denominator and uses them in its evaluation of your fraction. It does NOT first convert your fraction to decimal, do math, and convert back to a fraction. By using the actual numerator and denominator no accuracy is ever lost.

This application is great for students, teachers, and parents.
